Mail Service Update Q1(Mar 9 2021)
Generally our message and learning from the past 12 months is that the mail delivery ecosystem is under stress and carriers are trying to catch up. WE ADVISE ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS TO SEND YOUR MAIL UP TO 8 DAYS EARLY AND TO PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR TRACKING NUMBERS.
March and April are generally high volume months for sending mail and we are truly in unprecedented times. According to Google trends, searches for the USPS are in line with the highest ever in the past 5 years and it is Christmas everyday for the USPS, but in the worst way.
Mail Service Update for the holiday season (Dec 21 2020)
It goes without saying that 2020 has been a long and challenged year. As we run into the holiday season the USPS is experiencing truly unprecendented demand and strain on all aspects of the service provided. The women and men of the USPS have done an outstanding job this year given the circumstances, but we are seeing new strains which are affecting all classes of service. We're also seeing intermittent tracking outages and inconsistency in reporting and scanning of documents through the mailstream. For the time being, we can no longer provide high fidelity estimates of delivery times and even our Priority and Priority Express Mail services will no longer gaurantee delivery times. Please email us at email@example.com with any questions.
Mail Service Update for COVID-19 (Oct 8 2020)
Tragically, many have lost their lives due to COVID-19 and many remain at high risk, especially heading into the winter. It's our view that the USPS' performance continues to be resilient, but clearly remains below the high level of performance from years past.
Unfortunately, we no longer can be confident that First Class Mail and Certified Mail delivery will fall within our delivery windows and we urge you to expect severe delays in the coming weeks and potentially months and prepare ahead for time sensitive documents.
Please reach out to us with any questions and we will gladly help .

Mail Service Delays due to COVID-19 (Apr 20 2020)
Given the unprecedented challengis the COVID-19 Pandemic is creating. Many USPS distribution facilities accross the country have been affected, and we've seen from recent data that some of our orders have been directly affected. The USPS more recently officially increased Expected Delivery timing for First Class and Priority Mail.
Mailform is still very much open and able to print and hand mail to the USPS for both single and bulk mail, but customers with time sensitive documents should consider these delays when selecting a class of service and be mindful of new guidance throughout our platform around estimated delivery times.

Sending Snail Mail During the Coronavirus Pandemic
Mailform is a virtual mailroom for small businesses. We built our app to be a convenient and helpful tool, and now more than ever we want to help small businesses fulfill their mail needs safely and easily.
So many businesses are being asked to get work done from home, and we’re here to help. As long as the mail is still being delivered, we can help you skip the line and streamline your outbound workflow. Available data shows that there is a very low risk of transmission via mail because of the poor survivability of coronaviruses on paper surfaces.
